...similar to many of the reviews posted, I too have had calendar issues with this app. So unable to actually create a game schedule or use app during a game to manage players....which is the primary reason I paid for this thing. I have sent multiple emails requesting support help and have heard nothing back. Its been over a week... Ugh. If they provide support and its fixes everything, Ill update my review. Until the calendar piece of app works though, its virtually useless.

Great app. Does 95% of youd want. Couple of nice to haves would be better clock mgmt and display and possession stats capability. Love this app. Used it for 3 years now. Fun to know and quote the stats. Even more fun when seasoned coaches ask how I know the count.

Wont add games to my schedule.

Dont waste your money, very buggy program. Definitely needs an update.

I love this app for many reasons.....although the one downfall I find is changing the formations mid game. Am I missing something or are the formations set in stone once the game is in process?

I admit it takes a lot if research and practice to get this app up to speed. Install Twitter and Dropbox and then set your device email / iCloud accounts up first. Watch the videos and practice. The hardest part about this app is that it is so customizable. Bottom line, excellent work and our entire program is adopting this for all teams.

This is my first iPhone app review after owning an iPhone for 4 years. Great app!!! Exactly what I needed to help me coach!! Would like to request one thing... The ability to email or print out the lineups and to be able to assign lineup to periods and games. Great app thank you!!!

I love it. Very easy to use. Customizable. Could not be happier.

Rotations were based on paper based on line ups I did at home for the next game. As soon as one player was missing, that paper rotation schedule was useless during a game. Now, thanks to Soccer Dad, I can actually concentrate on the game and the players, as Soccer Dad takes care for me about all the rotations and statistics. Absolute MUST HAVE app for any coach in recreational soccer!

I dont think I could manage playing times and stats without this app. Id be lost! My team actually considers my iPad a good luck charm! Im never at a game without it.

I was really enjoying this app until the most recent update. Now, after creating a lineup for an entire game, it gives me the wrong report for Planned Coverage. I use printed reports during matches so I dont look like Im staring at my iPhone screen all game. And now I cant print a coverage report because it loads another type of report erroneously. Please fix!!!

Great app! Is there a way to input rosters for opposing teams? I need to report player stats for both teams to the newspaper after the game. Currently, I can record all my players stats but I can only record team stats for the opposing team.

I have been coaching for several years at many levels and this app has satisfied most of my needs. The ease of keeping stats is great during the game. The ability to manage playing time is really good. The only areas that I have seen where improvements really need to be made are in setting up your subs during the game and modifying the formation. The substitutions can be queued up awaiting stoppage in play then executed on a different app. This one requires you to do it as they are going in. That can be difficult at times while trying to coach, make changes in the app and talk to players going in or coming out. The formation wont allow me to do three forwards, three midfielders, three defenders, a sweeper and keeper. The limit is four lines making me put the sweeper in line with the other defenders. All in all I am happy with the app. The ease of viewing, quick input options during the game, and the reporting are very nice.

App works pretty well. Unfortunately, the Developer does not respond to simple usability questions. There is not an FAQ. I am trying to figure out a few things such as how to record opponents goals and stats, how to manually manage game duration and breaks (80 minute game time with varying halftime times). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Ive coached rec & competitive soccer for 6 years. Ive tried several team mgmt apps. Soccer Dad is by FAR, the best one available! Worth every cent I spent on it! I can sub on the fly, plan out positions, game plans, and customize everything I might want to use in a game. I can use the whiteboard during practices to diagram and explain...its a perfect soccer app, both for rec play and competitive! I HIGHLY recommend it for anyone using an iPad to track games and stats. I can pull up season stats, by game, Ayer, team, etc... After trying several other apps, that didnt really do everything I wanted, I have found the one Im sticking with for life! Thank you Soccer Dad!

Ive been using the app for two years and I love it. Anyone know how to delete a formation?

Feature rich app. Looking fwd to using in a game setting, and wondering if this might be best for the asst coach or team mgr to track stats (as opposed to me as head coach). Regardless, the white board and gameplan feature among others make this one easily worth the price. Love the tweeting feature. Very cool! And the "how to" videos were done very well. I watched every one of them! Keep up the good work.

I picked this app up on a whim, and Im so glad I did. It has proven to be a valuable tool coaching rec soccer. I finally have a way to create a roster that handles rotations effectively, that ensures everyone gets enough playing time, and that lets me quickly adjust for late or absent players. Great app! Thanks.

Mr Matthew developed a winner here. Very good and extremely rich in features. Been using this season and loving it all. The support though us the issue. Not sure hes too busy and did this for fun (great fun) and cannot answer the emails but bottom line is... Dont expect any answer soon. Asse from that you have my recommendation to buy and you wont regret. If wasnt for the support I would have give a 5 star.
